Mont-Albert is on the list of the 10 best hiking trails in Gaspésie and it’s not by mistake. This mountain offers spectacular views and is one of the tallest mountains in Québec.

This hiking trail is located in the Gaspésie National Park. This trail is not open year round so please make sure to verify all additional information on the Sépaq website.

Level of difficulty: Expert.

Duration: 12.6km (round-trip) around 5-6 hours

Parking: Centre de découverte et de services.

9. PIC DU BRÛLÉ

The Pic du Brûlé is another spectacular hiking trail located in the Gaspésie National Park that offers breathtaking views.

If you’re looking for a beginner friendly or family friendly trail the Lac Aux Américains trail is the one for you! Located in the Gaspésie National Park, this hike brings you to a basin at the Lac Aux Américains.

Level of difficulty: Easy

Duration: 2.6km (round-trip) around 1-2 hours

Mont Richardson offers beautiful 360 degree views at its summit! This mountain is also located in the Gaspésie National Park and has one of the highest peaks in Québec.

Mont Ernest-Laforce is perfect if you’re looking for a shorter hike at an intermediate level. This mountain is located in the Gaspésie National Park and it offers 360 degree views of Mont-Albert and it’s surrounding mountains.

Level of difficulty: Intermediate

The Vallières are located in the Réserve faunique des Chic-Chocs that is also operated by Sépaq. This park is located right by the Gaspésie national park.

Level of difficulty: Difficult

Duration: 12km (round-trip) around 6 hours

3. MONT SAINT-PIERRE

If you’re in the area, you absolutely need to head on over to Mont-Saint-Pierre for this stunning hike!  Mont Saint-Pierre offers spectacular views of the Saint-Lawrence river. This trail is also connected to the SIA/GRA1.

Mont Xailbu offers the most beautiful viewpoint. This mountain is part of the Chic-Choc mountains and is located in the Gaspésie National Park.

Lastly, we have Mont Saint-Alban. This stunning lookout is located in the Forillon National Park at the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula. You can either hike Mont Saint-Alban by the Cap-Bon-Ami trail or starting from Petit-Gaspé beach. Regardless of which trail you choose, get ready for an incredible adventure!

Level of difficulty: Intermediate

Duration: 7.8km (loop) 3-4 hours (starting from Cap-Bon-Ami) or 7.2km (loop) 2-3 hours (starting from Petit-Gaspé beach)
