If you’re a dog mom (or dad) like me and you’re looking for some adventures to do with your pup you’ve come to the right place! In this article, you’ll discover the most incredible dog-friendly hiking trails across our province! Here are 40 MUST-DO DOG-FRIENDLY HIKING TRAILS ACROSS QUEBEC!
If you’re not already aware, Sépaq allows dogs in all of their National Parks except for the Île-Bonaventure park as well as the Anticosti park. With that being said, not every trail is dog-friendly. Here are the dog-friendly trails offered in each Sépaq park: https://www.sepaq.com/animaux/
In addition, please make sure to follow the hiking trail etiquette. I created this article with a section specifically for dogs! You’ll find it here. As mentioned in this article, it’s important to keep your dog on a leash at all times and to pick up all excrements. Above all, please leave no trace.

The Montage Verte is a popular hiking trail located in the Laurentides region. This dog-friendly trail is open year-round. Furthermore, keep in mind that this trail has a difficulty level of intermediate to difficult.
Most importantly, please note that you’re only permitted to park in certain places. It’s important to be respectful of the people who reside in the area and to park only where you’re permitted. Refusing to follow these rules will leave you with a parking ticket.
