The Parc national du Bic is located by the St-Lawrence River in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region in Québec. It’s a 5-hour drive from Montreal and a 3-hour drive from Québec City. This national park is operated by Sépaq.

11. PARC D’ENVIRONNEMENT NATUREL DE SUTTON

The Parc d’environnement Naturel de Sutton is located in the Eastern Townships in Sutton. This is by far one of my favorite parks to adventure to during the winter season. It is absolutely stunning! I highly recommend it.

10. PARC RÉGIONAL DU MONT HAM

The Parc régional du Mont-Ham is located in the municipality of Ham-Sud, in the Eastern Townships. This mountain offers incredible 360-degree views from the top! A must-visit park to add to your bucket list this winter!

9. PARC RÉGIONAL DU MASSIF-DU-SUD

The Parc régional du Massif-du-Sud is located in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. It’s a 2 hour drive from Québec City and 3.5 hours from Montréal.

8. LE MONT À LIGUORI

I had to add Mont à Liguori to the list! Although it’s not a park, it’s a wonderful trail that you can hike during the winter season. This mountain is located in the Charlevoix region and offers breathtaking views of the St-Lawrence River.

Furthermore, this hike belongs to the Sentier-des-caps and the Massif de Charlevoix.

The Parc national du Mont-Mégantic is another must-visit park during the winter season for its snowy canvas!

The Parc récréoforestier Saint-Mathieu is located just 2 hours from Montréal near Trois-Rivières in the Mauricie region.

Furthermore, this spectacular park offers snowshoeing as well as snowmobile trails.

5. PARC NATIONAL DE LA GASPÉSIE

The Parc National de la Gaspésie is another must-visit park operated by Sépaq. This park offers some of the most incredible mountain views in all of Québec.

The Parc national des Monts-Valin is located in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. This park is an absolute must-visit during the winter season for its beautiful winter landscape. If you’re able to make it out there, I highly recommend it!

3. RÉSERVE FAUNIQUE DES CHIC-CHOCS

The Réserve Faunique des Chic-Chocs (Chic-Chocs Wildlife Reserve) offers 4 snowshoeing trails during the winter season, with one of them being the Vallières-de-Saint-Réal. This 16km hike is unlike any other if you’re looking for a challenge this winter.

Please note that there is no service in this park so it’s very important to be prepared before arriving.

Furthermore, this park is located right next to the Parc national de la Gaspésie in the Gaspésie region. It is also operated by Sépaq.

The Mont Gosford is known as one of the highest mountains in the province of Québec. It’s located right near the US border in the Eastern Townships.
